BOB ABERNETHY

During the course of over 25 years of public speaking experiences, Bob Abernethy learned how to overcome his own severe Fear of Public Speaking, becoming an excellent, in-demand, and successful speaker. He has extensive IT and enterprise software industry sales and management experience with organizations including Cornell University, The Los Angeles Times, Nissan, Oracle, and Siebel Systems.

Today Bob is President and Co-founder of Yosemite Analytics, which has partnered with Birst, Inc. to provide industry-leading cloud-based Business Intelligence and Analytics to small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) worldwide. http://www.yosemiteanalytics.com

Before founding Yosemite Analytics, Bob served as SVP & GM of Strategy Companion, a well-known Business Intelligence & Analytics software company based in Irvine, California.

 

Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and a Master of Management Information Systems degree from West Coast University in Los Angeles, California.  

 

An avid hiker, Bob has "Made It To The Top" of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park five times.
